Two new mounts were added in this patch — the Burabura Chochin and Shishioji mounts — and if you're looking to find out how to bag either of these coveted rewards, here's everything you need to know about them.

How To Get The Shishioji Flute

A character atop the Shishioji mount in Final Fantasy 14.

There are a few ways you can get the new Shishioji mount. First and foremost, it's a possible reward from the Another Mount Rokkon Criterion Dungeon, and we have a guide on how to unlock this content here.

If you always seem to have the worst luck when it comes to RNG, you can also purchase it from Trisassant in Old Sharlayan at (X:12.0, Y:13.3) in exchange for 100 Shisu coins, which you can earn from Another Mount Rokkon or Another Mount Rokkon (Savage).

Lastly, if you want to forgo having to deal with the content yourself, you can choose to spend your hard-earned gil and just buy it from the Market Board.

How To Get The Burabura Chochin Whistle

A player within the Burabura Chochin in Final Fantasy 14.-1

Unlike the Shishioji mount, there's only one way to get this reward, and that's to earn it yourself as it's given to those who complete the 'Mononopeke' achievement.

This achievement requires you to 'Unlock all exorcism records on Mount Rokkon.', which essentially means to complete all 12 paths. Once you've done this, you can simply redeem the Whistle from the achievement menu.

If you find the Chochin monsters from the new dungeons particularly cute, there's also an Okuri Chochin minion!
