With the launch of Patch 6.45, we have another new hairstyle to covet in Final Fantasy 14 — Modern Aesthetics - Ambitious Ends. As with every patch drop, players scramble to find each and every newly added item, and while this new hairstyle was easy to find, it'll be a little harder to earn.
Players love to change up the look of their Warrior of Light regularly, and each new hairstyle or outfit is often highly sought-after. Here's everything you need to know about how to get the Ambitious Ends hairstyle in FFXIV.
How To Unlock The Ambitious Ends Hairstyle
The Ambitious Ends hairstyle can be purchased from Trisassant in Old Sharlayan at (X:12.0, Y:13.3) in exchange for six Rokkon Potsherds. If this NPC doesn't appear for you, speak to Osmon at (X:11.9, Y:13.3) to make him appear.
This hairstyle is compatible with characters of any gender or race.
Additionally, this item is available from the Market Board if you would rather pay in Gil than blood, sweat, and tears.
Where Can I Get Rokkan Potsherds?
Rokkon Potsherds are rewards from the Mount Rokkon Variant Dungeon added in patch 6.45. It'll take you more than one dungeon run to have enough Potsherds to purchase the hairstyle.
You can unlock the Mount Rokkon Variant Dungeon by speaking to Shallow Moor in Old Sharlayan at (X:12.0, Y:13.3) and undertaking the 'Mononoke Aware' quest.
You must be Level 90 and have an item level of 605 to enter Mount Rokkon via the party matching option, but you can enter with a lower level as a solo player/with your current party.
How To Change Your Hairstyle
You can change your character's hairstyle by interacting with a Crystal Bell in any inn room in any major city to summon the Aesthetician. You can also do this from the comfort of your own FC house or apartment if you happen to have a Crystal Bell there.
