Screenshots from a possible sequel to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl have seemingly leaked online, showing that Squidward will be added to the roster and that Patrick and Danny Phantom will be reworked.
The images were shared on the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl subreddit by Redditor KlausHeissler09, who claimed to have been sent the images from someone on his Discord. They show screenshots of a moveset for Squidward, who was one of the most highly-requested characters to be added to the first game, as well as an updated attack for Patrick that has him flipping his house on his opponent.
Following the initial leak showing Patrick and Squidward, Reddit user Fabulous_Mud_alt3 shared an image of Danny Phantom in the sequel, who has seen a bit of a redesign. Instead of the strangely big-headed 3D model from the first game, this Danny seems to have new 2D facial features that make him look closer to his original design. The screenshot shown does make Danny look a little weird, but it's seemingly because he's in motion.
As of the time of writing, it's hard to gauge whether these leaks are legitimate. If they've been faked, then there's a lot of work that's been put into them, particularly for Squidward's unique fighting animations. It also seems strange to fake Patrick getting a new move to do with his house and Danny Phantom getting a redesign. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's devs also previously hinted that more was on the way in the future, which would certainly make sense with a sequel.
That being said, more detailed and intricate leaks have been faked in the past and there's not too much to this one just yet to make us certain of its authenticity. It's worth taking this one with a pinch of salt until we see something a bit more concrete. If true, though, it'll be good to see All-Star Brawl get the second wind it deserves.
