Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has a new fighter: the long-anticipated Rocko. The star of Rocko's Modern Life is available in the game now, and is the final character in the game's first paid DLC pack.
Alongside his release, the NASB devs have shared a video of Rocko in action. In the short gameplay demonstration, we can see that Rocko is decked out with a bunch of projectiles, focussing on long-range play as opposed to getting up close and personal. Rocko is also particularly frail, so you'll have to make the most of his fast attacks to make sure you're not leaving yourself vulnerable.
As you can see in the video below, we have a full move breakdown for Rocko already. It looks like he's aimed at more experienced players given his fragility, since he will require you to go in for attacks, and quickly get out of the way before your opponent retaliates.
Purchasing Rocko will also give you his alt skin, a bowling shirt, and his personal stage. All of this can be bought separately, or in a bundle with Jenny Wakeman (My Life as a Teenage Robot) and Hugh Neutron (Jimmy Neutron).
The full season pass will set you back £9.29, with individual packs priced at £3.99 each. At the time of writing, Rocko hasn't gone live on PC just yet, but we know he's set to be released at some point today.
As for the future of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, it's pretty unclear now that Rocko has launched. No other DLC fighters have been revealed, nor has the existence of another character pack like we got with Jenny, Hugh, and Rocko. Given the popularity of MultiVersus, it's possible NASB will stay in the fight to compete with its rival, but if not, Rocko might very well be our last new fighter.
