Tekken 8's Closed Network Test (or CNT as we all love to call it) has been datamined, giving us a glimpse at some fighters joining the roster that have yet to be officially revealed.

Although the first Tekken 8 Closed Network Test might have ended last week (after being scalped on eBay for nearly half the price of the full game), Bandai Namco is already back at it again with another test that's currently running, and seemingly to a few more players this time around. Considering this is the second Network Test, I'm surprised this hasn't already happened, but dataminers have managed to access the game and discover some unannounced characters.

As pointed over on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, the leak was first shared on the Tekken Discord and discovered by using Cheat Engine, a PC tool that lets players access files in the game using community-made scripts. As you can see in the screenshot that was shared on Discord, dataminers using Cheat Engine have been able to access a list of characters for the game, including some that haven't yet been announced.

The unrevealed characters include Alisa, Steve, Shaheen, Raven (presumably the one mentioned in Tekken 5), Yoshimitsu, and Raven, who are all characters that have previously been in Tekken games. None of them are particularly surprising inclusions considering they've all been in past Tekken games, but the list is incredibly unlikely to be final considering how many big fighters are missing from the list.

As pointed out by Redditor Trem45 in the original post on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, the list doesn't include series staples like Kuma, as well as ones that were previously hinted at like Alex the Velociraptor. It seems more likely that the characters on the list that haven't been announced yet are just the next in line to be revealed or the ones that have been tested on this build of the game.

It's also worth noting that none of the characters who are included on the list are new to the series, which seems unlikely for the eighth entry, especially when we've not really had any new fighters revealed already. Bandai Namco has also previously said that the roster for Tekken 8 will be bigger than the base roster for the last game, which is currently isn't with all of the characters that have been shared so far.
