A reliable insider has leaked the pricing options for the recently-revealed Spider-Man 2 limited edition PS5, DualSense, and faceplates for both the digital and regular PS5.

Last week, Insomniac Games made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con to take part in a panel for Spider-Man 2. Alongside a new trailer, we got a ton of new information about the game, including details on how long it's been since Miles Morales, and a look at new designs for the main characters (which seem to have mostly gone down well). The biggest surprise of all was the confirmation of a limited edition Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle, which features a unique design of the Insomniac Games Spider-Man symbol being covered by the symbiote.

When revealed at Comic-Con, it was confirmed that pre-orders for the limited edition PS5, DualSense, and face plates would be going live on July 28, tomorrow. However, reliable leaker billbil_kun has beaten PlayStation to the punch and revealed the pricing options for all three of the Spider-Man 2 accessories that will be going on sale tomorrow. As noted by billbil_kun, it would usually be easy to predict the price of these things, but this is the first time a PS5 game has gotten a limited edition console bundle and face plates to go along with its release.

As reported by Dealabs, the limited edition PS5 console bundle will cost $599, which is around $100 more than the price of a normal PS5, which usually retails for $499.99. That's not a bad deal considering you're also getting a copy of the game itself along with a limited edition DualSense and faceplates, but it does indicate that both of those things will cost a little more than standard versions do.

As for the DualSense controller on its own, Dealabs reports that it's going to cost $79.99 in the US, around $10 more than a normal DualSense will set you back and $5 more than the coloured variants that Sony has released. As for the faceplates, they're reportedly going to cost $64.99, which is again $10 more than the $54.99 that the normal versions cost.

That being said, the prices of both the Spider-Man 2 DualSense and faceplates are in line with the cost of other limited edition accessories, such as the LeBron James items that are currently up for purchase on the store. The real item worth noting here is the limited edition PS5 bundle and that's simply because it's the first one of its kind that we've seen so far.
