Primogems are the currency in Genshin Impact that allows players to make gacha pulls for characters. This can help expand the player's team, and figuring out how to pull characters for less is a huge topic among the games community. Players who don't want to spend real money on the game are always looking for ways to collect primogems.
Luckily, the region of Liyue is rich in quests that reward primogems upon completion. In fact, there are fourteen world quests currently in the game that give the player primogems upon completion. Below are all fourteen quests and where to find them.

Archon Quests
Archon Quests unravel the tale of the Traveler suddenly separated from their twin at the start of the game. There's only a small set of these main quests you'll run in Liyue, but they award a hefty pile of Primogems for the early game.
Chapter 1: Farewell Archaic Lord
Liyue is where the first chapter of Archon Quests takes place, right after the three-act prologue that introduces you to the first set of playable characters and loads you up with a ton of materials to get you started. Like the prologue, the first chapter consists of three acts, all of which reward a generous primogem payout along with other compensation.
Starting off this quest chain ironically involves the Traveler finding themselves at the wrong place at the wrong time. Namely, arriving at the Liyue Harbor in timing with a suspicious death. Navigating your way through this three-part quest is well worth the effort, though.

World Quests
If you were looking for the World Quests that give primogems, that selection is much more vast. While they won't typically pay out like the early-game cushioning the Chapter 1 Archon Quests give you, World Quests teach you more about the world around you and the stories that unfold within it.
Little Game - 30 Primogems
A Little Game will net the player 30 primogems and doesn't involve any combat. To start, talk to Childish Jiang, who is located on Mt. Tiangheng right outside the city. The boy will ask you to play hide-n-seek.
Once the player finds him four times, they will complete the quest.
And This Treasure Goes To... - 40 Primogems
And This Treasure Goes To is a quest that will award the player with 40 primogems. The quest will activate when the player comes upon an empty camp in the Lingju Pass. The camp will send the Traveler to find a scholar named Alrani.
She is being held captive by some treasure hunters who will need to be defeated to finish the quest.
A Provisional Arrangement - 20 Primogems
A Provisional Arrangement is a quick and easy quest that awards the player with 20 primogems. This quest simply needs the player to visit Wangshu Inn and get a package from Zhen Qiang.
Afterward, simply ride the elevator up and deliver the package to Huai'an.
Big Business - 30 Primogems
Big Business is a quest that is worth 30 primogems. To begin the quest, talk to Landa at Wangshu Inn, who will send the player on a quest to retrieve three boxes of invoices scattered around Stone Gate.
All three boxes are close to the inn, and a reward will be given upon returning them to Landa.
Books in The Woods - 20 Primogems
Book in The Woods is a quest with a spooky twist that awards 20 primogems. To activate the quest, go to the destroyed village in Wuwang Hill and talk to Little Nine. She will send you into the forest to find a book.
After unsuccessfully locating it, Paimon will tell you to return to her to receive your reward.
Luhua Landscape - 50 Primogems
Luhua Landscape is an interesting quest that gives 50 primogems upon completion. To start, go the Luhua Pools and speak with the artist Vermeer who will give you two paintings.
Simply retrieve his tools from the location the painting was made to get a reward.
Nine Pillars of Peace - 50 Primogems
Nine Pillars of Peace is likely one of the last quest players will complete in Liyue, but it does award 50 primogems. To complete the quest, go to Cujoi Slope after fully leveling up the statue of the seven.
After putting stones in the pillars, a dungeon will open up for the player to complete.
No Restoring This Past Land of Beauty - 30 Priomgems
This is a simple and quick request that most players have probably already completed. The quest can be started or turned in by talking to Zhiping, who is located right outside of Liyue Harbor. He will commission the player to slay the Primo Geovishap boss in exchange for 30 primogems.
Before taking on the Primo Geovishap, be sure to have a shield user in your party to counter his attacks and deal extra damage.
Old Tastes Die Hard - 20 Primogems
Old Tastes Die Hard is another quick and easy quest that is worth 20 primogems. To finish it, simply cook a sweet madame and then visit Mr. Zhu, who is located at a house near the Luhua Pools. Once you give him the sweet madame, the quest will be complete.
Overstretched - 20 Primogems
Overstretched is a battle-focused quest that is worth 20 primogems. To begin, find a Millelith Guard named Qiaoxi in Dihua Marsh. He will send players on a quest to wipe out a few enemies.
After defeating the six different quest enemies in the area, the quest will be complete.
Share Not Your Treasures - 30 Primogems
Share Not Your Treasures is worth a total of 30 primogems. To begin, the player will need to find the ruin guard in the Guili Plains who is near a letter. Afterward, the player must light a bonfire in another location.
After lighting the bonfire, the player will need to find a treasure chest to complete the quest.
The Chi of Guyun - 60 Primogems
The Chi of Guyun is a quest that is worth 60 primogems. The quest requires the player to speak with Yan'er in the Bishui Plains and then move to Qingce Village to collect three stones.
Afterward, the player will need to enter and fight through a ruin to complete the quest.
The Tree Who Stands Alone - 50 Primogems
This quest is worth 50 primogems and can be found in Mingyun Village. The Tree Who Stands Alone will require the player to find pieces of Yuan Hongs' will after listening to him speak.
Once all three pieces are found, the player will be awarded with treasure and primogems.
Treasure Lost, Treasure Found - 80 Primogems
Treasure Lost, Treasure Found is another multi-part quest that is worth 80 primogems. To begin, speak with Soraya in the Guili Planes, who will send the player around the nearby ruin to read the text.
After Soraya moves to Wangshu Inn, she will send the player to find four jade tablets, which will unlock a treasure pit.
The Yaksha's Wish - 30 Priomgems
The Yaksha's Wish is a short quest worth 30 primogems. The quest can be started by lighting the lanterns at the ruins in Minlin. The actuators are a bit more spread out than normal but can be easily found by walking around.
Once all the lanterns have been lit, the quest will end.
