A reliable fighting game insider has suggested that there are currently seven characters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2's launch roster who have yet to be revealed, including one SpongeBob rep and another that’s going to be a big surprise.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 might have finally been confirmed to be real earlier this week, but that doesn't mean that the leaks and rumours are going anywhere. As you might expect, the biggest and most exciting leaks are the ones about the game's launch roster and the new characters that are going to be joining the fight this time around, something that one leaker has given us a bit more information about.
PapaGenos, a reliable fighting game insider who has previously leaked correct information about the first All-Star Brawl, took to YouTube earlier today to discuss the sequel's roster, revealing that he'd already been shown several leaks and knows about several of the unannounced characters that are coming to the game, of which there are seven that he knows about.
Although PapaGenos doesn't go as far as confirming which characters are coming to the game (because he doesn't want to "spoil the fun"), he does give several hints that let us speculate a bit about who might be included. One of the first things that Genos mentions is that he's not sure if Vlad Plasmius from Danny Phantom is going to be playable or not, even though it's been confirmed that he plays a role in the game's campaign. All-Star Brawl 2's roster will apparently be either 36 or 37 characters, depending on if Vlad is playable.
PapaGenos also confirms that El Tigre is one of the newcomers that are coming to the game, even if the supposed leak from a few weeks ago has since been proven fake. The rest of the hints are a little more vague, but Genos says that one of the fighters will be another character from SpongeBob, which is very likely to be either Mr Krabs or Plankton, as both were highly-requested for the first game.
As for the more vague hints, PapaGenos claims that two of the new characters are from an already-represented series (let's go Zuko!), one is unexpected, and another is even more of a surprise pick. Another of the unrevealed fighters is from a series that's already in the game, but is one that's "unexpected but cool". The last two hints that Genos gives are that one of the seven fighters is from a series that's new to All-Star Brawl and another is something that he's not going to say anything about right now.
The hints are incredibly vague, but from them, we can assume that we're getting El Tigre, a character from SpongeBob, two fighters from shows that have already been represented in the game, and some surprising wildcard picks that no one is expecting. My hopes and dreams are on Otis from Barnyard.
